At the Smyrna High School Band Boosters, we believe every family has something valuable to contribute. Whether you choose to support the organization through a small annual membership contribution or by donating your time, your involvement helps create meaningful experiences for our students.
Families who prefer to contribute through volunteer service may choose our Volunteer Membership Option.
Instead of paying the $10 annual membership dues, members selecting this option agree to complete ten (10) volunteer hours during the current membership year.
Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Concessions
Hospitality
Uniform assistance
Pit Crew
Chaperoning events or trips (when approved)
Fundraising activities
Equipment loading and transportation
Special events
Committee service
Other Board-approved volunteer opportunities
Volunteer hours are tracked by the Band Boosters, making it easy to monitor your progress throughout the year.
Members participating through the Volunteer Membership Option receive the same membership rights, privileges, and voting eligibility as members who pay annual dues.
If unexpected circumstances make it difficult to complete either the membership dues or volunteer hours, please contact the Executive Board. We are committed to ensuring every family has the opportunity to be involved in supporting our students.
